Greetings to all our APRALO At-Large Structures (ALSes) and Individual Members
This is an informal site which provides reports on events and meetings, plus eBooks and other resources, produced to support those ALS members who were unable to attend face to face ICANN meetings or the online capacity-building and informational webinar sessions that APRALO has run in conjunction with ICANN’s APAC Hub in Singapore. Also there have been resources produced by the At-Large Capacity Building Working Group which are not easy to access through the ICANN systems. We hope you will use these resources to learn more about what we do in ICANN, in At-Large, and in APRALO.
At a general assembly of the global set of ALSes which was held in London in 2014, called ATLASII, ALS members developed a set of recommendations to strengthen their role within the ICANN community. Following on from this event, the APRALO Leadership Team decided to undertake a survey to identify the “expertise and interests” of our APRALO ALS members that might strengthen our regional role within At-Large. This survey and its results can be found here.
During the APRALO General Assembly at ICANN60, in Abu Dhabi, United Emirates, in October 2017, a meeting with Jia-Rong Low and Kelvin Wong of the ICANN APAC Hub in Singapore, has resulted in their sharing information with us on this site. We welcome the APAC Hub and our continued collaborative partnership.
